Tokes is a Corporate Marketing professional by day and a Fashion and Lifestyle content creator with a strong love for food and travel by night. A Nigerian-born New Yorker to a DMV transplant, she is passionate about empowering and inspiring busy women to put their best foot forward every day. “When we look good, we feel good,” said Tokes, who believes effortless style helps to evoke that emotion. DARIUS L. THOMPSON, II
Darius L. Thompson, II, a graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and LIM College, after receiving his Master of Business Administration in Marketing, Darius entered the fashion and business scene ready. He received the opportunity to study fashion/historic costumes abroad in London and Paris. From these studies, Hardcore Glam Productions was created.
Being the creative mind behind Hardcore Glam Productions awarded Darius positions in marketing with Baltimore Fashion Week, DC Fashion Week, Patricia Field’s Boutique, and Fashion At BET during the BET Awards. From his experience, coaching, and runway show production were added to the deck for Hardcore Glam.
Under Darius’ direction, Hardcore Glam has worked on the creative direction for artists like SWV, Allure, and Xscape. His repertoire includes marketing for The Roots Picnic, Venus TV, En Vogue, Fantasia, Brownstone, and 702.
Darius knew at a young age that he had to have control of his future, so having an expanded education channel was a must. The father of one son, he is building his empire to ensure his legacy lives on.
