Nate Couser is the founder of VashtiBlue Jewelry Studio and a self-taught Visual & Design Artist with over 20 years of experience.

 

Nate's journey began after the devastating murder of his maternal grandmother, Shirley Chisley, his biggest supporter. Seeking therapy to cope with this tragedy, he channeled his personal pain into creating unique wearable art.  As a teaching artist, Nate has been actively involved in the DMV area, sharing his knowledge in acting, visual art, music, and entrepreneurship with young individuals.

 

However, his true passion lies in "Being A Man For Others," as he is dedicated to teaching valuable life skills and fostering stronger community connections among young artists. Nate's creative endeavors are dedicated to the women who raised him, instilling in him the values of integrity, creativity, self-ownership, and being there for others.
